History of False Flag Operations

In 1962, in order to convince the American people to support a war against Cuba, the Pentagon drafted up Operation Northwoods.

In this document, there are plans for operations against Americans, meant to give the impression Cubans were behind the operation.

There is no mistaking the false flag nature of these plans: "We could blow up a US ship in Guantanamo Bay and blame Cuba."

The document specifies the importance of American casualties, in order to drum up support for war.

Hijacking airlines, and crashing airliners are highly recommended plans of action.

This document was signed by "L. L. Lemnitzer", the Chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff.

ABC News covered this story when the document was declassified, stating "In the early 1960s, America's top military leaders reportedly drafted plans to kill innocent people and commit acts of terrorism in U.S."
